Which areas can be treated? |
|
Almost any area can be successfully treated by electrolysis. For women, common areas are the upper lip and chin. Occasionally it is necessary to treat the entire face. It is rarely necessary to remove all follicles as the majority of facial hairs are too fine to worry about. Only the pigmented or longer hairs need to be treated. Eyebrows, breasts, tummies and bikini lines rank next in popularity. As a point of interest, breasts and bikini lines tend not to be as sensitive as most women believe. Bikini lines encompassing the buttock area can be treated to accommodate the meanest string bikini. Toes, lower back, and entire legs can also be cleared. Some clients become "hooked" on electrolysis once they complete their first area, and carry on until it's all gone. Armpits, arms, nape of the neck, hands fingers -- it's all possible. For men, the popular areas to treat are, eyebrows, throat, and back. The most difficult is the male beard, but that too can be successfully completed. Many men also desire to remove the coarse hairs that appear on the ear lobes or even the inner nose. Virtually any hair is a candidate for removal. |
